Our largest insurance company's bought out, stock market declining, oil prices sky rocketing?

So, are we in a recession/depression yet? Or are they waiting to confirm it once a new president is elected? Our largest insurance company's bought out, stock market declining, oil prices sky rocketing?
The whole thing is ready to collapse..

This is what they reported on MSN news..

(A total global meltdown may have been averted by a lucky break: markets in Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong are closed for a public holiday on Monday. )

If a holiday is all that stands between a global meltdown of the economy, then what real hope do we have. When it finally collapses, they will establish a new (wall street) in Europe and use the Euro for our new money, and at that time the US economy will be toast..

We are in a full fledged depression and it is happening whether we like it or not.Our largest insurance company's bought out, stock market declining, oil prices sky rocketing?
LOL... great question, and good point.

NO, Bush is not going to say that he put us in the shape we are in and his side kick McCain, well- he see's America as strong.

Maybe strong smelling because we can't afford water and soap thanks to Bush!!

Oil prices are down and price of fuel to heat our homes has not dropped plus gas prices at the pump rose instead of dropped but, ?? Bush say's it's all good. Good for him and his oil buddies but what about the rest of the world - we are not doing so good.

Bush has created quite a mess and Obama can and will make things turn around, it might take time as no-one can clean this mess up in the first day or month.

They're probably waiting for the new president so they have someone new to blame. I'd say we've been in a recession for quite some time now. Foreclosure and unemployment are insane here where I live, and I saw gas back up .40/gal and over $4 again this weekend. We need a break!
Oil prices are dropping. The barrel is $96 right now. Everything else sucks though and no matter who is elected it will take a long time to fix.
Waaaaaaa The sky is falling !!!!!!!!
