The President does not control the price of oil or gas.

No. The price of oil is basic economics of supply and demand. Supply was at its highest point because demand was at its highest point. Then demand fell by 40% (actually gasoline demand feel by 40%), when left supply with less demand bring down the price of gas. The demand fell because people tightened their belts and just decided they didn't have the money to travel as much as well as beginning to car pool.

oil was high when ms. nancy shut the lights on cspan thinking the GOP would be blamed. oh contrare lady speaker, GOP renegade congressmen stayed and lobbied for drilling. the public agreed by over 70%. since that time oil has plummeted to close to half of its peak. maybe someone noticed that inflating crude prices could get you a backfire and hurt our economy (was that the target!?)






Bush does not set oil prices. Neither did Clinton, Bush Sr, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, etc, etc, etc





Bashing Bush for everything does not get to the root of the matter.
Funny how liberal minds work right... I mean americans suffer with high oil prices and blame bush.... Oil goes down and its somehow bad also... Blame bush... seriously get out of the country if you don't like it, seriously.
Bush has absolutely no control over the price of oil. Blaming the rise of oil on Bush and the fall of oil on Bush is just ignorance.
