I think about my trips more and try to make a path to do all things at once instead of making multiple trips. I do my shopping on my way home from work instead of making another trip out.How do the extortionate oil prices affect your life?
Getting to work is becoming difficult, my pay has not increased and the hours I work I am unable to ride any form of public transportation and I live to far to ride my bike. If it gets much higher I may need to buy a motorcycle to drive to work. I just hope we can figure this out before our economy collapses. If they ground the airline industry alot of this will change. Our economy is based on flight.
I loaded up on energy funds a few years ago, for the old portfolio. It's had a positive effect. If oil hits two hundred a barrel I may buy a little cottage in Wales for the summer months.
I'm hoping it will lead to less stinking car exhaust fumess polluting the towns %26amp; countryside %26amp; more people walking to places and smiling ''hello'' to each other.
A change from the roadculture and the whole roadrage society.
It's made not drive over drive 60mph, cancel driving trips over an hour away, purchasing more food grown nearby and having to work longer hours in order to carpool.
If my friends and I want to go out we take public transportation. 5 dollars a person for an all day pass is cheaper than gas at this point. Gas in San Diego is about $4.29 a gallon.
It means that to fill my Porsche 911 Turbo with superunleaded petrol costs around 拢70. I will carry on buying it though, if only to piss the greenies off.
lol it doesn't i dont drive and it is not difficult to get on a bus :)
makes me use a bike - much healthier
