Its all becuase of the consumer we use too much, just like in California with the power outages, the consumer had to cut back becuase they demanded too much. A company or speculators or even the government would never (or can't) artifically inflate a price for more profit. If they were caught they would probabily go out of business. Its all the consumers fault......(talk about history repeating it self)





The answer is all the bankers and investors who lost money (or losing money) in the mortgage problem are gaining it back, and then some. By investing in Oil futures they are trying to rebuild their capital, once they are happy they will pull out and the price will plummit. That is why congress is dragging its feet, its doing it on purpose. You watch, within a couple of years it will come out how somehow the oil prices have been manipulated for the past year or so.What is the big game in the flaming oil prices?
Thanks to a certain Bush Senior who unequivocally told the world - ';The American Way of Life is NOT NEGOTIABLE!,'; fat, polyester wearing freaks can't get onto a bicycle (even if they thought they could,) and everyone in mainland China and developing India want the same as the Americans, who - according to the way their consumption just keeps climbing , are not going to do anything about fossil fuel consumption until it becomes prohibitive.
